| A plan... |
The first thing to do is to plan your CAS programme
during the first week of the academic year. It will need to
be approved by your CAS coordinator, Mrs.
Bassiouni or your CAS Advisor. Step 1
List your skills and interests. List your current activities
– they will probably count ! List the activities you would
like to do. Talk to students who are already doing CAS.
Step 2 Make sure your
programme includes a balance of Creativity, Action and Service.
Check that your programme will allow you to do activities regularly.
Step 3 Think about who
will supervise your activities. |

| Guiding questions |
| What determines whether or not an intended
activity qualifies as CAS ? |
| |
Is the activity a new role for me?Is it
a real task that I am going to undertake ?
Does it have real consequences for other people and for
me ?
What do I hope to learn from getting involved? How can this
activity benefit other people ?
What can I reflect on during this activity ? |
